Q. 1. When is Death-cum-Retirement Gratuity (DCRG) withheld ?
Ans. On pendency of Dues or Recovery.
On continued occupation of Govt. Quarter after retirement.
Q. 2. How is DCRG Calculated?
Ans. Retirement Gratuity is calculated at the rate of 1/4 th of a month's emoluments, last drawn before retirement, for each completed six monthly period of qualifying service. If a pensioner retires after 20 years of qualifying services, his six monthly period will be 40.
Q. 3. When will DCRG / part of DCRG be released?
Ans. After receipt of no dues certificate and on vacation of government quarter, if occupied.
